A beautiful serene morning, so peaceful, and with the overnight snow stunningly beautiful in Tomlins Wood in Frimley. I've waited so long for conditions like this! Here in the South East we often have to watch the news with envy as other parts of the country get a decent covering, but on this particular day it was our turn. Two days later, with snow still on the ground, we experienced temperatures of -5 over night, and awoke to a hard frost. I ventured out to the Ash Ranges where the beech trees were covered in frost.
